Dogon Project, it’s the same name of onlus (no profit organization), is engaged in Mali, one of the poorest countries in the world, known only for the sculptures that, at the beginning of 20th century, inspired much of modern western art.
Intervention of onlus organization Dogon was, and always will, consist in providing adequate means and facilities to launch, with the contribution of private and public entities, of Italian companies, an independent development of community-based healthcare resources and local materials.

The following images refer to Giovanni Dolci's partner, coming back from Mali and show both Giovanni and Carlotta with Werè inhabitants, which are occupied in their activities of creation of a small vegetable garden in Werè, this is the joint project "Agricoltura", between Dogon Project and University of Padua. Our Milena is the Project organiser. The first truck (Missionland) reached Bandiagara carrying 710 kilos of rice, the collected medicines, and a sterilizer with the help of Carlotta and Domenico of RETE NGO. The next day, with a PEDECO car, they arrive to Werè and Giovanni equally dispense rice to 40 families of Werè, a small but concrete help from our Organization to the population of Dogon region, where this year they experienced less rainfalls. They have given the medicines to the Health Center pharmacy.
